There’s a brilliant line in the movie Julie & Julia where food blogger Julie Powell says that blogs are inherently narcissistic, it’s always about me, me, me, right? So here’s me being all about me, me, me. I just wanted to let you know that I’m taking a mo to revamp Symposiia. It’s still going to be about nerdiness around drinking alcohol and what it means in society…but it’s also going to incorporate some recent changes in my life, which I’ve been able to narrow down to two things:

environmentalism and zero waste, especially as it pertains to drinking

my recent diagnosis for stress-induced chronic disease

I think this is going to make things very interesting, especially seeing as how my doctors have recommended that I really reduce my moderate drinking to either very little or none…I can’t wait to explore this with you all.
